Penalty provision
The punishments are divided into the following categories.
Category 1: a warning
Category 2: a 1-day ban
Category 3: a 2-day ban
Category 4: a 3-day ban
Category 5: a ban of 1 week
Category 6: a ban of 1 month
Category 7: permanent ban
Category 8: account wipe
Penalties may be imposed preventively to allow further investigation.
A staff member has the ability to decide to increase or decrease penalties based on the context, situation, or previous penalties/warnings of an offender.
The staff member has the right at all times to determine whether the behavior falls under one of the articles below and to impose a penalty accordingly.
If you've been warned or banned for the same category multiple times, the penalty will be higher. Multiple bans could result in a permanent ban from QuebecMC.
If something is not included in the Rule set of QuebecMC, several staff members will consult with each other to discuss the situation, which will result in action and/or an assessment. Therefore, something not specifically mentioned here may still result in a different conclusion or approach.
